Label Anaira didn’t start with a big business plan or a perfect roadmap. It started with conversations, small ideas, and the quiet feeling that we wanted to build something meaningful together.

Anaira actually began with a memory that stayed with me for years.

Growing up, I would watch my friends borrow their mothers’ clothes. Dresses, heels, things they could share between them. My mom and I couldn’t really do that because our sizes were different.

It sounds small.

But it didn’t feel small.

As I grew older, I realised how many women quietly feel excluded from fashion, especially plus size women. Fewer options, less comfort, and this constant feeling of needing to change your body just to fit into what exists. I didn’t want that anymore.

So we created our free size dresses.

Clothes that mothers and daughters can both wear. Clothes that let you breathe, eat, dance, travel, and live your day without constantly adjusting yourself.

Because fashion shouldn’t restrict you. It should move with you.

Our sarees follow the same philosophy.

Many of them are made using traditional Indian weaving techniques that are slowly disappearing. They’re crafted by skilled weavers using manually operated machines, not mass factory production. Every piece is carefully checked by hand before it reaches you. Our semi organza sarees are especially close to my heart.

They carry generations of craftsmanship. The fabric is incredibly light, almost airy, and when sunlight touches it, it reflects this soft, quiet glow.

Elegant, but never loud.

The kind of saree that feels special, but still easy to wear.
