About Us
Hi 🤍
We’re Shriya and Dhruv.
Label Anaira is our little dream that turned into a brand — not because we planned it, but because it just… happened.
Welcome to Label Anaira — where every thread tells a story of love, heritage, and effortless beauty.
How it started
I’ve always loved clothes. But growing up, there was one thing that stayed with me.
My friends would wear their moms’ dresses. Borrow heels. Share clothes.
My mom and I couldn’t do that — our sizes were different.
It sounds small, but it didn’t feel small.
And as I grew older, I realised how many women feel left out of fashion — especially plus-size women. Fewer choices. Less comfort. More adjusting.
I didn’t want that anymore.
So our free-size dresses were born.
So moms and daughters can wear the same dress.
So you can eat, dance, travel, sleep — without sucking in your stomach or fixing your outfit every five minutes.
Everyone deserves that ease.
Our sarees
Our organza sarees (especially the nylon ones) are made using old Indian weaving techniques that are slowly disappearing.
They’re woven by very experienced weavers, with manually used machines — not big factories.
Every saree is checked by hand before it’s packed. Always.
They’re light, they glow in the sun, and they feel special without being heavy or intimidating.
And the co-ord sets
Not everything needs to be “occasion wear”.
Our co-ord sets are our newer babies — more affordable, easy to pick, easy to wear, but still very Anaira.
Stuff you’ll actually reach for again and again.
What we care about
We care about:
-
comfort (a lot)
-
inclusivity (non-negotiable)
-
Indian craftsmanship
-
making clothes you actually live in
We don’t want you to save Anaira outfits for “someday”.
We want you to wear them, repeat them, sit on the floor, spill food, nap in them.
If you’re here
Thank you for being here. Truly.
When you buy from Anaira, you’re supporting:
-
a couple-run small business
-
Indian weavers
-
slow fashion
-
and clothes that don’t ask you to change your body
And that means everything to us.
With love,
Shriya & Dhruv 🤍
